Our London Famous Balayage
The Salon is known across London for our French balayage. Our color experts are trained in both Ombre and Balayage and consult with you on a personal level to achieve natural-looking results that fit you.
What is Balayage?
The term comes from the French word "balayer," meaning to sweep. It's a term that refers to the way the color is applied, not the color itself. Balayage is a technique where hair color is painted onto the hair to create a graduated, more natural-looking highlight effect.

How we Deliver Our Balayage Highlights
Your hairdresser will section your hair and apply the color they have mixed onto the surface of your hair using a brush. This is done freehand. The color will be applied generously in the mid to end lengths of your hair, as this technique transitions the color from root to tip.
This free-hand application ensures these ‘natural highlights’ look streak-free and not purposefully placed, as foils are not used in this service as they are in a highlights service.
Who is Balayage For?
Balayage is the perfect hair technique to introduce color into your tresses. It is a great way to experiment with color, starting off soft and subtle! At your next appointment, you can go darker or lighter with the color for a softer or more dramatic effect.
It is ideal for those with medium to long hair and works wonders in covering grey hairs without applying a full head of color. Want to create the illusion of thicker hair? Balayage helps to create the effect that your hair is thicker at the bottom, as highlights are applied thinly to thick by your stylist and their ‘paint’ brush, giving your hair dimension.
Hair Color Home Maintenance Tips
It is important to treat colored hair to ensure your color remains vibrant and lasts for longer. Ensure you use color-protecting shampoo and conditioner. We recommend Wella Color Protect to protect against hair color fading.
